Meraki [may-rah-kee] – doing something with soul, creativity, or love – and putting “something of yourself” into what you do.
Meraki is a creative expression of the art of Jiu Jitsu. We strive to teach our members to think conceptually and develop their own individual style within a highly supportive and inclusive environment. We are dedicated to providing the highest standard of training in a state of the art facility that reflects our passion for the transformative power of Jiu Jitsu. Meraki was built to maximize the technical, physical, and mental benefits of Jiu Jitsu for every single member.
HEAD INSTRUCTOR: JASON HUNT
Jason Hunt, a black belt in Jiu Jitsu and Judo, is the founder and head instructor of Meraki Jiu Jitsu. To date, Jason remains the only American black belt under Atos founder Ramon Lemos. From its inception, Jason was part of a select and elite group of practitioners led by Ramon Lemos that developed a modern and highly successful style of jiu jitsu first in Brazil, then globally. Under Jason’s leadership, Meraki will continue this ethos of innovation, efficiency, and creativity for the art and sport of jiu jitsu.
